Definitely the people. Even when I was on a tour as a prospective student, everyone on campus just smiled at me. It's a great place to be and learn.
It sometimes smells like cows. It is Vermont, after all.

The SMC family- everyone is so supportive and encouraging, always wanting students to have the absolute best experience in all areas.
Probably that you can't stay longer than four years. It becomes everyone's second home so quickly, you want to live there forever.
