Excellent music program and events, much cultural diversity to be had. I would not go again because I became part of a community while there which was not represented at Oberlin.
There is a bit of separation between the Liberal Arts and Conservatory worlds. I don't think it can be avoided given the curricula, but it makes for a bit of social compartmentalization.

Cost. Since I was a student 1985-1989, the costs have risen dramatically. I think a truly great liberal arts education was worth $15K per year (room/board books travel included), I am not sure...
