Everest University-Tampa

Founded in 1890 and located in Tampa, Florida, Everest University-Tampa is a private college offering degrees to students from all walks of life. Their claim to fame is that they are the oldest business college in the state of Florida. Everest University-Tampa offers a wide range of degree programs, including but not limited to: Accounting, Business, Computer Information Science, Criminal Justice, HVAC certification, Massage Therapy, Paralegal, and Pharmacy Technician.

Everest University-Tampa boasts flexible schedules for their students, which includes online courses, and in some cases, complete programs offered online. They want the student to be able to make their class schedule around their life.

Another benefit offered by Everest University-Tampa is a tutoring center equipped to help students struggling with academics. The tutoring center is staffed almost entirely by fellow students.

Everest University-Tampa strives to make their campus like a community with regular Student Appreciation Days where they serve up food and fun. Some of the activities at Student Appreciation Days in the past have included Halloween costume contests and Spring Festivals. The campus is a close-knit group of faculty and students.

Everest University-Tampa is accredited by the ACICS (Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools), and they are a member of the Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools. Of course, many of their specialty degree programs are accredited by industry-specific accreditation boards.
