California Healing Arts College is a private, for-profit vocational institution. Dr. Paul Schwinghamer founded it in 1988. The college is committed to providing a pleasant and inspiring learning environment where students and instructors collaborate and benefit from each other. It strives to promote massage therapy and personal fitness as non-invasive types of healing to balance traditional medical practices. The college was listed as one of the country’s top ten massage therapy schools in 1999 by “Massage for Dummies.”
California Healing Arts College offers both day and evening classes to accommodate the busy schedules of students. It concentrates on providing practical instruction to increase the prospects of employment after graduation. To ensure adequate personal attention, the programs are limited to 24 students in each day and evening section.
California Healing Arts College is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges. The Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education also approves it.
