Deep Catholic roots provide Assumption College with a rich moral chemistry, and links students to some of the world's brightest scholars and artists. With programs in both the liberal arts and professional studies, Assumption College has something to offer everyone.
Located in Worcester, Massachusetts, Assumption College continues the tradition laid out by its founders, the Augustinians of the Assumption, in 1904. The Augustinians believed in teaching as a form of service and as a way to hasten the Kingdom of God, hence their motto, "Thy Kingdom Come." The original campus was located in the Greendale section of Worcester, but a tornado in June of 1953 forced a relocation to the West side of Worcester, just off Salisbury Street.
