Apollo College, which also operates under the name of Carrington College California, is a private college that was founded in 1976 by Margaret Carlson. The College has campuses in Idaho, Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon, Nevada, California and Washington.
Apollo College offers associate's degrees in each of its academic majors. Most students can graduate in two years or less with the required training needed to obtain a job within their field of study. These majors are accredited by Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools.
Students who are not able to attend on-campus classes have the option of enrolling as virtual students. They can study online and take courses that will help them establish a career after they graduate. Online students study the same materials as students who attend classes on campus. They are subject to the same examinations and grading standards as well.
