Hi Jessika - I haven't seen the list of problems that Yuba College lays out, but I can tell you that for most colleges, those lists aren't comprehensive. Depending on the issue and reason for appeal, you can go "off the list" and write to the financial aid office. You just need to be sure to have lots of documentation and collateral material. Just saying to a college "I need more money" never works. They need to see reasons (financial reasons) as to why you need more funds and exactly how much more you need. The more detailed you can be, the better.
